Well it’s officially announced today. Check out the Project Cars 2 Official Trailer!

Much like the leaked trailer I posted on this blog a few days ago we are greeted with a official trailer covering some of the same clips which is great news. Project Cars 2 is to feature 170+ cars, 60+ tracks, varying terrains and motorsports, tested and approved by world-class drivers, and featuring more iconic cars from the world’s most elite brands, Project CARS 2 is the most beautiful, authentically-crafted, and technically-advanced racing simulation game you’ve ever experienced.

With that said we will see the expansion on the dynamic weather system with even snow added to the mix. What you will be experiencing is a more true to life dynamic weather system that effects the tracks surface

and your racing lines. You will see the tracks puddle up and then later dry out as the race continues and weather changes. Weather is something that can really separate the men from the boys so to speak. Having improved dynamic weather effects with added puddling on the track in logical sections of the track just adds to the realism and changes the race dynamically.

Like mentioned in before posts, you will see the addition of Rally cross and new cars like the Lamborghini Hauracan GT3, Ford GT, Ford F150, Mini RX, McLaren P1 GTR and Ferrari 288 GTO. With 170+ cars and 60+ tracks like Hell Finland Rallycross and Long Beach I’m sure more surprises are to come. In comparison Project Cars 1 had 126 cars and 35 locations with 100 different courses. See the PCars 1 car list below.

Project Cars 2 is still crowdfunded and developed in conjunction with the community. All the constructive criticism the community gives Slightly Mad Studios takes to heart to bring us an even better experience with Project Cars 2. Things like better controller support, more tracks, more cars, improved weather effects, more weather effects, more racing variety, but still keep the mantra that everything is unlocked so we can play the way we want to. Yes it’s all there and much more to come as the days get closer to releasing. Project Cars 2 is sliding into our lives late 2017 on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, so stay tuned here at TJRSim for more upcoming news!

Enjoy the vid!

Additional Note:

Oh wait! I forgot to add that Project Cars 2 will support VR and 12k resolution. So basically triple 4k screens. 🙂

See ya on the Track!
